  • Description and Personality

    Orrie Oaks is a striking figure with his fiery red hair and muscular build. His curious blue eyes seem to take in everything around him, always alight with excitement and good humor. Despite the extensive burn scars that mar his skin, Orrie carries himself with an easy grace, his movements fluid and confident. His restless energy is palpable, as if he's always eager to explore and discover new things. Orrie never overthinks, or more often than not, pauses to think when someone is in danger throwing himself in between the danger and the innocent.

  • History

    Orrie Oaks came into the world and unwanted child, unwanted by his mother who resented his existence and unwanted by his father who hated that Orrie looked more like his best friend than his other siblings did. It was a violent home, one that Orrie doesn't much remember. He remembers pain and lots of yelling, but by the time he was four years old he had been removed from their care and placed in the Nexxus orphange.

    It was a great place that he has plenty of fond memories of until the night of the fire and Orrie was terrified. The boy had hidden under one of the beds lost to his fear, bawling his eyes out, when the fire finally found him. He was rescued of course, but not before taking third degree burns on his back and thighs. It had taken months for Orrie to recover and once he had the boy returned to the system. Unfortunately he never found a family that wanted him and when he aged out he found himself hopping around from youth hostel to youth hostel until finally getting himself stable enough to go for his dream: a firefighter.

    Orrie saved up enough while in fire school to get a small one bedroom apartment in the RLD, with just the essentials he needs to survive. Now just out of being a probationary firefighter and in a permanent house Orrie hopes that maybe he's finally found someplace that can be "home".
